Tamia is one of R&B's newest singers. At 21, the Windsor,
Canada, native says her Mr. Right has a good sense of humor and a
strong personality. "I like feeling I'm protected," says Tamia,
who is working on the soundtrack for the movie Speed 2. "But he
would also have to be gentle. I don't like tough men. I thrive on
gentleness.... He can be a garbage man. I can pay for dinner.
It's the '90s.
