It's been a long goddamned time since I got the last issue of this zine together - about 9 months now actually. Oh well, what the hell, I am getting no profit from this so I can do it whenever the hell I feel like getting it together. This issue was originally planned to have interviews with JFA and Jeff Bale but I decided to those on the back burner for right now. They may appear in the next issue though.

There is a good long interview with the Whiskey Rebel about Rancid Vat, Alcoholics Unanimous, his writing and the Confederacy Of Scum. I'm sure many reading this haven't heard of either group - they have nearly 50 releases out so check out the interview and clue yourself in.

Also including in this issue is a report on the Cleveland hardcore fest in Detroit. Luckily, this roadtrip went much better than most of the trips I end up on do, and there is full coverage of all the bands that played - 9 Shocks Terror, Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Ruiners, Darvocets, Puncture Wound and Secret Servix.

The record review section is pretty damn big - quite a bit of good releases over the last 9 months or so. Lots more coverage of good rock/punk/HC this time around - and still coverage of the new noise stuff I have heard. Nearly everything reviewed is stuff that I have either bought, or had the chance to hear somewhere. So don't expect everything good released lately to be in there. If you have a band or label, feel free to send me stuff for review in the next issue. I guarantee you will get reviewed but don't expect a good review just cuz you're sending me something for free. Also, my reviews are based solely on music - I don't give a shit if you're a communist or a nazi or anywhere between - if it rocks, it rocks. If you're looking for music that confirms your political beliefs, I recommend going somewhere else, there are many better sources for that.

The live reviews section is a bit skimpy this time around - partially because there hasn't been too many good shows here in Cleveland and partially because I am a picky bastard that doesn't go to every show that hits town. There were a couple shows I regret missing such as Speedealer, KK Null and Fear, but oh well. It's kinda sad to say but out of all the shows I reviewed, the show with the most 'punk' spirit and the most fun was definitely David Allan Coe...many different types of people at that show but all having tons of fun drinking and singing along to their Coe favorites. Lots of drunken strangers bullshitting with each other and a overall fun, intoxicated evening. Too bad more punk shows aren't along those lines - instead more often it's a fashion show or a bunch of people just trying to show how 'cool' they are by being there.

Some interesting new Cleveland bands that have popped up since last issue include Secret Servix, The Hurricanes, Teenage Knockouts, and the new incarnation of Integrity - Integrity 2000. You can read more about all of them inside.

That about does it for the introduction...I already mentioned a couple possibilities for interviews you may see in the next issue. There should also be a report on the COS Supershow in Philly, provided shit actually works out this year. If you wish to submit something that you think would fit in this zine, email me with the link below. Hate mail and other comments also encouraged...I may print some in the next issue. Till then, enjoy. Oh yeah, hopefully there won't be another 9 month wait but I wouldn't count on it.
