My Dad's Encounter

In the eigth grade I had to do a huge project on anything that had to do with music, so of course I picked my favorite band in the world, Aerosmith. I was telling my dad about this, since he was the one who had gotten me hooked on the band. He started telling me stories about how he started listening to them when he was my age and about an encounter with them when he was twelve so here it goes:
My dad lived Boston, hometown of the band, and was walking to the movie theater with a few friends. As they walked past the cadillac dealership he looked in and who was buying a cadillac but Stevn Tyler and Brad Whitford. "Oh my God, look it's Steven Tyler and Brad Whitford!" He yelled to his friends. They ran up to the windows,fighting over spots to stand, and sat there staring at them.
When he told me this I was jumping out of my chair and screaming,"DID YOU GET AN AUTOGRAPH?!!!!" "No, Christina, relax," he replied calmly." This in the 70's when they were used to having huge crowds of people following them all over the place, we were scared to even talk to them." So all they did was stand there in the window and stared at them for God knows how long. Finally Steven Tyler noticed, they both looked over and laughed a little and waved. My dad and his friends were so scared that, instead of waving back, they ran! I thought that it was so funny.
Not a real big encounter I just thought that it was kind of cute!
