When I met and hung out Steven and Joe

It was at the California Jam l
It must have been 1978/79
and My girlfriend and I new Ted Nugent.(I met him 3 years before and would set him up everytime he came to town with one of my friends for the night-so he valued our freindship and always gave me tons of backstage passes) Ted invited me and a friend up there and we went-looking forward to seeing all the bands there-especially Aerosmith!
After they went up and played we waited for them to get cleaned up and Ted took us into their tent for a backstage party-food,drink etc... They were really high and drunk and they were really bummed at the show they had just performed, but they were sweet- we hung out with them for a couple of hours shootin the shit, then after my freind and I said NO-to going to bed with them-they gave us both lusious kisses and hugs and said that it was nice to have met and talked with us and then found some groupies that were hanging out and grabbed them for the night!
My friend and I were okay with that, we were just happy to have hung out with them-too bad that I didn't have a camera back in those days!
