Actual Status

All we know is that Slash seems to be out. He announced that he left the band for differences with Axl and that in the future, yes, they can make the differences something good and that Slash will appreciate working with Axl again.

There was said that Matt Sorum was also leaving to join Slash's group. The GNR managers said that it's not true. So, Matt's status is uncertain.

Izzy is out. He's doing solo career and he left because he didn't like the direction that GNR was taking.

Dizzy is still with Axl, waiting for the new album.

Seems like Duff also left the band some months ago, but they've been playing toghether and seems like we can have him back.

Axl, as owner of GNR's rights, says that another album is coming for next year, with or without slash and the others. There were rumors that the former Nine Inch Nails guitarist and batterist would replace Slash and Matt, but that's just rumors.

What's really going on we don't know, but I think that things are just getting better, after leaving and making solo career albums, Slash, Izzy and the others see that it's nothing compared to Guns N' Roses. 'Cause I see the storm is getting closer and the waves they get so high' period is now past. Things are getting easy and the next album, I believe, will have the formation:

-W. Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradin', Dizzy Read, Duff and Matt Sorum.

What about Gilby Clark? This one's been fired for Axl for several reasons in 1995.
