Tripoli. Trained clients, students in operation of Paintbox; Encore; Aston; A72. Compositing with 
Harry+HUD. Supported 3D and admin. staff computing on MSDOS;RISC OS; Symbolics Genera. 
Acorn registered software developer. Stylus closed by Trilion Group parent March 1992. Transferred 
to S4C to complete contracts.

Designed, built custom equipment; organised technical stores; cabled-up the equipment to central 
jackfield; performed commissioning, routine and "fire-brigade" tech. operations and maintenance, 
including OBs, programme switching, playout and logging. Trained and supervised programme staff.

Successfully completed A & B courses at Woodnorton Hall; various on-station courses and 
attachments. Experience ranged from stripline UHF base & field maint. to MV power generation and 
switching. Responsible for monitoring transmission quality, coordinating maintenance. Left for more 
creative role with CBC.

SOCIAL INTERESTS: 
*	I participated in food; book and housing cooperatives for a number of years, becoming development 
officer of the housing association, managing the renovation of derelict properties to provide low cost 
accommodation for young people. 
*	I have been a leading member of several hospital broadcasting stations, presenting shows and in some 
cases constructing studios. 
*	I have played in a several bands, including Living Legends (UK); Some Weird Sin; The Megaton Men; 
NC4, produced and organised the manufacture and marketing of LPs and singles. 
*	I can work reasonably competently through the medium of the Welsh language, and am actively seeking to 
brush up my French and German and acquire some basic Japanese. 
*	I used to participate in photographic and radio clubs (as GW8KSL), but haven't got the time or space at 
present. 
*	I have held a full driving licence since 1981, and had my own transport last time I looked. Unpaid taxi 
driver and goat heard to a generation of Swansea kids.
*	I enjoy sub-aqua as and when other commitments permit, currently never
*	I do a bit of DIY as and when wife; kids and life insurance permit.
