It would appear that pop vixen Christina Aguilera's mystery "ailment" that caused her to cancel three weeks of promotion in Europe is a new love interest.
The nineteen year old Aguilera has recently become involved with Doug Cherokee, 25, a member of the college-rock quintet, Flint.
Aguilera, in the last year, has been linked to MTV VJ Carson Daly and rapper Eminem. Cherokee is no stranger to dating famous women as he is rumored to have locked lips with 'Buffy' star Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Aguilera's representatives were allegedly furious with the petite pop-star for attending a party with D.C. - the urban moniker used by the street-smart Flint hunk - and getting caught leaving his hotel room early the next morning when she was supposed to be recuperating from a reported viral infection.
Gossip columnists have quickly come to their own conclusions about Aguilera's conquest - suggesting her ability to seduce D.C. is a jab at rival Britney Spears, who has long been rumored to be chasing Cherokee's bandmate, Cody Jackson.
