Anticipated Album delayed by Fistfight

The highly anticipated debut album from Flint has been pushed back a few months because of a fistfight. The fistfight occurred after singer-songwriter Cody Jackson heard the first mixes of producer (and featured tin whistle performer) P.J. Fondue and complained about 'too much f**king recorder'. The album, tentatively titled 'White Trash Folklore', is currently being re-mixed with segments being re-recorded in time for a December 22nd release date.

Formed back in 1991 to combat Seattle's grunge movement and fluff like N.K.O.T.B. and MC Hammer, Flint has made a name for themselves with their hypnotic, high-energy concerts and a repertoire of songs that guitarist Juwan Pilgrim labels 'crotch-inspired love songs'.

Hoping to capture the manic spirituality of their live show in the recording studio, Flint's debut album is certainly one that is eagerly awaited by local fans. When asked about what to expect from this album, Fondue seemed exasperated. 'You try dealing with the combination of an alcohol-frenzied pseudo-perfectionist and a 255 pound monster who wants to beat the crap out of you every day.'

Upon hearing the statement, Jackson laughed and said this, 'Expect this album to prove Flint can push music to a level no one has ever seen and tell that flaming fatima Fondue that he's lucky i wanted to beat the crap out of him and Juwan didn't get his chance'. Flint's unsurprising lack of cohesiveness is just another chapter in the saga this band has taken in making their first album. Stay tuned.
