Rumor has it that Flint lead singer Cody Jackson is bound for England in the next week to talk to Flint's U.K. distributor about the new album and to invite former Flint keyboardist Doug Cherokee to return to the band in time for their tour beginning in the new year. The rift between the two that caused Cherokee to leave Flint and start his own band Tartan Joy seems to have been mended. Tartan Joy failed to get a record deal in England and so it looks like the complete Flint unit will be intact to tour in support of the new album.
Jackson says "Nighttrain (Cherokee's nickname) has every right to tour with us because a lot of the songs on the album he helped create." [ed. Note: before he left Flint]. Jackson didn't come out and say that a reunion was imminent but he does believe the band will be at 'full strength' for their Party like it's 1999 tour. Another report will follow Cody's trip to England to confirm or deny this rumor.
