Having acquired a large and loyal following for their lo-fi post-grunge rock, the local boys from Flint are heading back to the studio to work on songs for their follow-up to the widely successful debut album, White Trash Folklore.

Overlord Records chairman Harrison Lee Wingate wants them to get a few songs done before the band heads on the road for most of May and June, starting with a prestigious Cinco de Mayo weekend. Wingate says "The guys have had some free time since their exhausting couple of weeks in New York in mid-March. Cody has kind of been all over, as you've probably read in the tabloids. He's on tour with a friend's band hanging out all over the country and getting inspired to write the new lyrics for the album. Doug's stayed in New York I think with his fiancee and the rest of them... actually I find it hard to keep track of all of them."

Is there any pressure on Flint for this album? Juwan Pilgrim answered "I think the second album is the hardest. Any time you have a happening first album, the second one has to sell better and sound better. We're up to the challenge.". Representatives for Flint, recently named "Artist of the Moment" by SKiDS magazine, expect another winter release for album number two.
