ST. Titosburg= Pensacola-based Overlord Records has won a fierce battle to sign local band Flint to a recording contract. Flint made a name for themselves with their extensive touring of the Tri-State area and subsequent campus popularity. Cody Jackson and Juwan Pilgrim, the duo that make up Flint, are in Pilgrim’s words “happy the bidding war for them is over and look forward to making records.”

Overlord Records chairman, Harrison Lee Wingate, is pleased with the signing. “We expect Flint to be like a prized recruit for a small football team. We think Flint will quarterback Overlord Records to a place of national prominence.” Flint are expected to be in the studio until June. After that, they are expected to headline this upcoming summer’s H.U.M.P. tour.
