Here are a few links to various places to get started in Chainmail. They are in order of how I think they rate as far as; stuff, manuverability, and overall my thinking that they're cool.

The top three on my list are here.

Sara's chainmail connection

Sara's Chainmail Connection is possibly one of the best Chainmail sites on the web. Very clearly navigated with links to anything you might require to get started or expand your skills.

Chainmaille Fashions

Chainmaille Fashions is A good site for inspiration and has a lot of nice stuff. They also offer pre-cut links, which is a great help for those who don't have the resources they want in their nearby area. The site includes a catalog and a guide on making chainmail with animated graphics.

StrangeBlades

Another site with interesting pieces and animations that taught me most of the patterns I know.

Chaos Pasture

This guy has got to be one of the wierdest people the net has ever seen. Well, maybe not. But close. He is the first person in almost a year to give me a chainmail pattern I haven't been able to figure out. However if you are the easily offended, don't think for yourself type, I wouldn't recommend going to the site. Matter of fact, if you're one of those people, get out of my sight er...site!

Random thought: Why do they make forklifts so big if all they have to lift is forks?

The Colluphoid Armory

Not a bad site but needs to be updated more often. Lots of good patterns

Random thought: Does the whole Saddam thing remind anyone else of Little bunny Fufu? "Little Saddam fufu we don't want to see you scoopin' up the oilfields and boppin' 'em on the head. Down came the United Nations, and she said....."
