Information - its use in organisations

• Information is used in many different ways in organisations. It depend on the types of problem of each organisation had that need resolution. These problem tend to change from level to level of hierarchy. Example : information that is used to monitor and assist employees as they perform their daily functions  : - Can loan be given or is there enough money in an account to cover a withdrawal from a bank account, - Have enough blue jeans been produced today?.

• Everyone in organisations is no doubt using Information to help them to do their job and to solve their problems. Different information is used by different individuals. Example : for managers use information to make long term policy decisions, for personnel officers use information to plan training sessions.
