"Ben's in LA, and his dad calls him up and leaves him this message on his voicemail. His dad's just waking up, too early in the morning for him to know even what he's talking about. And I think he's still, like caught in a dream, and he's thinking about John Glenn, and he's probably worrying about his son's health at the same time. Wondering if Ben's going crazy, you know. So he just kind of drops this funny idea in about being in space and losing your body mass and your most valuable possession becomes your mind."

"I listened to that message so many times, and I played it for almost everybody. We were in the studio one night, and that's where I played it on the speaker phone, and Caleb's like, "oh, let's record that." So he records it, and then we had hours of jams that we'd been doing, so we just put 30 seconds of our best moment on there."

6:49 A.M, Friday, November 20th. Good morning, Mr. Ben. It's about 6:30, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Um... I'm just laying here, in the bed, half awake, half asleep, thinking about you. Uh... I was, uh, wondering if you were looking after your most valuable possession - your mind. I was thinking about uh... John Glenn, his space journey and all. They said that when you're in space you lose uh... muscle mass... and body... mass...and I wondered if there was any... end to it, or whether if you didn't exercise in space, how long it would be before you were just... a head, or a mind, and have no body or arms - you'd have them but you couldn't use them. I was wondering if, uh... if your body mass would drop to a certain level, and then it would stop right there and keep whatever you needed to... use your mind, because it would still be working. Thirty seconds remain... Anyway, I was just pondering that... what do you think about... that? I hope everything is going all right... uh, I may as well wake up here in a little while, and forget what I was thinking about.
