was formed in 1991 by Chisato, Gisho and O-jiro. At this time, Gisho was the former vocalist of Penicillin. Until, 1992/2, Hakuei joined Penicillin as the vocalist, Penicillin offically formed and started their activities. They were very popular in the indie. At this time, their image were very visualized and their music style were dark and speed. In 1992/5, their first album [Penicillin Shock] released, this album was produced by Kiyoshi (Media Youth]. Later on, [Missing Link] released in 1992/12. The 2nd and Normal Edition of this album included their first song [Imitation Queen]. This album is also my favourite. 1995/6, the album [God of Grind] released. It was the re-make album of their first album [Penicillin Shock]. At the same day of 1995/9/30, there were two companies released their mini-albums [Into the Valley Of Doll] and [EARTH]. 1996/1/25, single [Melody] released, the other side was [Mother Goose]. 1996/3/15, major debut single [BLUE MOON] released. 1996/5, 2nd [Imitation Love] released. 1996/6/26, 1st major album [VIBE] released. In the end of 1996, Hakuei and Chisato started their solo project. 1997, Hakuei and Gisho became actor and acted in the film. Hakuei acted [30-thirty-] and Gisho acted several films later and started his solo also. O-jiro and Yasumichi (Sleep My Dear) formed 808. After their solo finished, they released a single [Romance]. And their rock opera "HAMLET" was produced by Kiyoshi. When they finished the opera, they released two more singles, [make love] and [CRASH]. In 1998/10/21, they released their new album [Utimate Velocity]. In March,1999, Hakuei and Kiyoshi formed a new band, machine. Chisato also started his solo again and released single [Cyber Rose].

I think Penicillin are better in indies than now. Their songs are too pop now. The first CD that I had listened was [VIBE]. This was their debut album, but quite good!! I love [Imitation Love] so much! and [Blood Type: S] is a powerful songs. From this album, I started to love Penicillin and bought all their album. So, Second Album was [Missing Link]. Oh! This album is excellent. As powerful song [chaos], [MAZOHISUTO], and the melodic song [VANITY], [FIÓRE], [Melody] and [Rasen Kandan] are really good songs. I recommended this album the most!! However, in their 2nd major album [Limelight], I really don't like this album.The songs are too pop for me and the melody are not good. And the new album [Utimate Velocity], at least, it is better than [Limelight].
