10.14.02: How time flies! I built this website about 3 years ago and worked feverishly trying to keep it updated until last summer. And then it stopped. Not that I had lost interest in Hanson and their music, but with going back to work fulltime, there just wasn't enough time to devote to this effort. So you can imagine the shock when I came here and realized I hadn't updated it at all since June 21, 2001!! I feel so neglectful. Well... anyone who is a Hanson fan already knows all there is to know about the band through their two U.S. sites, Hansonline and Hanson.net, so I hardly feel the necessity to update anymore, but I will leave the site up as a tribute to Hanson because of all the work it took building it. Besides who's gonna come here to find out the lastest news anyway? That honor belongs to the "biggie" fan sites [you know, like the "biggie fries" at Wendy's] like Hanson Hotel and Hanson House, and others that I apologize for not mentioning but just can't recall at this exact moment.

Anyway, anyone who's in the "Hanson Loop" already knows the scoop (hey, that rhymes!) that they're still working on that album... and that middle brother Taylor got married to Natalie, his teenaged sweetheart. Congratulations Taylor and Natalie!! Oh, and we can't forget that Zac finally cut off that gorgeous mane of his. I sure hope it doesn't effect his drum playing, you know, like Samson and Delilah (haha)... that would just be too hard to take.

Well, that's about it on tonight's commentary. All you Hanson followers, keep on following. There's some good stuff still comin'... I just know it.

Read "AFTER THE CONCERT" [just something I wrote one day when I was thinking about what it would be like to be a rock star]

Hanson on songwriting...
"Everything in life can be an inspiration, it can be looking out the window and noticing something that just strikes you, or having a feeling about someone or about something, and that could inspire you. Maybe you've written something down, an idea or a lyric or a poem, and it strikes you and you're inspired by that. Everything in life can be an inspiration and that's the wonderful thing about music and songwriting."

"The next time you conceptualize Hanson fans, be sure to remember their adult fan base! Yes, adult Hanson fans do exist and we are growing in number. Hanson have touched the hearts of all types of people and it was only inevitable that adults were drawn into the fold. Although there is a great deal of uncertainty in the world at the moment, such as whether or not our toasters will function properly on January 1st, 2000, we can be assured of one thing: Hanson's music will abide into the new millennium."
~~ Aaron K. Thompson, as printed in MOE Magazine, Issue #5.

Always remember that each new sunrise brings its own purpose, excitement, and challenges. Never look back and wonder what might have been. Rather, enjoy the opportunities that each day brings and find something special to remember in each one, because a cherished memory never dies. When a day is lost without something gained, then a part of your life is gone forever and, therefore, lived in vain.
