videocl is a front-end gui designed to centralize media playback (divx, mp3) downloaded from the internet.

it accompanies a bare-bones system with a video card that has tv-out and a gamepad controller. since mouse and keyboard are not required, the pc can be compact and unobtrusive.

the program scans the local network for shared media files and adds them all to its playlist for easy access.  this allows for flexibility in media storage.
