Hello, my name is Michael. I'm a 21 year old student living in Melbourne, Australia. I'm half Chinese and half Australian. Currently, I have already completed 2 years of study at the University of Miami (in Florida) but now I'm in Australia studying Telecommunications and Internet Technologies at the Swinburne Uni of Technology. Anyway, I was studying Music Engineering at UM, which is basically Audio Recording for musicians. I play the violin and guitar (look in the Music, Beats, & Other Ramblings section for more detail). In a lot of ways, I'm very temperamental, with lots of self-induced moodswings, deep introspection, and good laughs. There have been many experiences in my life which have affected me, but most recently, it was my trip to the Study Tour ("Loveboat") to Taiwan during the summer of '97. The best summer/time of my life. I met some great people, lifelong friends, and my first girlfriend, Judy. I also felt, for the first time in my life, a real sense of belonging. Nothing can replace that. There have also been many other people in my life who have affected or influenced me in one way or another. You can see pictures of some of them in the People In My Life section. Getting on with it, my life has created many emotions, many feelings and sometimes I took the time to write about those times/feelings in poems or music.
