Great jazz pianist.

JAI JOHANNY JOHANSON (aka Jaimoe)
(Ocean Springs)

Jaimoe was and is a drummer for the Allman Brothers Band, along
with Butch Trucks. Prior to his involement with the ABB, he
was a Muscle Shoals drummer who worked with Otis Redding, Percy
Sledge, Joe Tex, and Clifton Chenier. In the late 70's he
he formed the fusion band Sea Level with bandmates Trucks,
Chuck Leavell, and Lamar Williams.

GREG GIUFFRIA
(Gulfport)

Keyboardist for the forgettable dressed-in-white counterpart to Kiss,
Angel.

MALACHAI FAVORS (aka Magoustous)
(Lexington)

Magoustous was the bassist for the "most innovative jazz group to
emerge in the 70's" (Rolling Stone). He had previously
played with Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard, and Archie Shepp.

JIMMY HENDERSON
(Jackson)

A founding member of Black Oak Arkansas, at the ripe old age of 15.

HARRY WILLIAMS
(Tupelo)

Percussionist for the 70's pop/rock/soul group Bloodstone. Yeah!

EDDIE BOYD
(Coahoma County)

Guitarist/keyboardist/singer responsible for the 1952 #1 R&B hit
"Five Long Years."

JERRY BUTLER
(Sunflower County)

Member of the Impressions with Curtis Mayfield. Butler put out
several highly acclaimed solo albums in the early 70's with
the production team of Gamble and Huff.

MILAN WILLIAMS

Keyboardist for the 70's funk/pop sextet The Commodores.

JAMES COTTON
(Tunica)

Blues harmonica player who played with Muddy Waters and Johnny Winter,
as well as Paul Butterfield, Janis Joplin, Steve Miller, Boz
Scaggs, Edgar Winter, Elvin Bishop, and Peter Wolf.

ARTHUR "BIG BOY" CRUDUP
