Frankfurt

The old opera house
I think the picture speaks for itself...

The Römer - really old building, home to city hall
I sat in the square by here every morning and heard the churches ring their bells at 9 am.

Römerberg - across from the Römer
So pretty, made sitting here in the morning even nicer.

Eschenheimer Turm - Originally a 14th century fortification
Really neat, especially since it's right by all sorts of modern buildings.

Schirn Kunsthalle - Big art museum
I never got to see the inside because I was saving it until my last full day, Monday...
but I learned that day all the museums in Germany are closed on Mondays.

Fountain on the Zeil, the biggest shopping street in Germany
It was really warm and sunny this day, so I sat by the fountain for awhile.
I also went shopping and saw movies on the Zeil

View from my room in the youth hostel
