The Lansdowne Tapes
Overview: A fantastic album of Spice tracks, alternate takes of Uriah Heep songs, and (at the time the CD was released) unissued Heep tracks. All tracks are reviewed on the following albums:
This CD is a must for any fan of Heep, and especially fans of David Byron and the early Heep sound. My only complaint is the track order. Mixing Spice with Heep doesn't work to my ears. I always play this in chronological order, ending with Why. Grade: Anote: The US version does not have track 15.
