Timings are CD track times, *NOT* song times. Note that CD players may vary in how
they display these times, in particular 2 seconds may be added to the 1st track on a CD,
and times might be rounded up or down. You should see times within 1 second of those listed.

==========================================================================
This version corresponds with a smiliar set of CDs with the following interesting similarities/differences:

Track timings for CD#1 differs; CD#2 & CD#3 are identical.

The flawed version has numerous small clicks throughout.
Many listeners have reported that they cannot hear these flaws.
For instance: d3t2 (Let It Grow), at 2:54, 3:00, 4:21, 7:35, 7:55 (left only), 9:55 (left only).
This list is NOT a total, all-inclusive list of the clicks. The sheer number of these (relatively minor)
clicks is what caused us to search out an improved copy, despite that fact that many listener's ears,
or hi-fi's, do not indicate these flaws. Note that some CD players may show slightly different timings
ie including 2 second pre-gap, I have taken the above timings from extracted .wav files.

Volume levels across the 2 versions are *not* identical. Bertha (d1t1) on the flawed set is loud,
peaking at -.41db and -.04 db in left/right respectively. On the improved copy, Bertha is quieter,
peaking at -4.02 and -3.64db respectively.
However on disc 3, the volume levels are identical. d3t1 peaks at -4.33db and -4.65db in L/R.
Discs #2 and #3 have the same peak levels.

Inevitably, the upgraded version is not perfect and a discerning ear will no doubt pick up a few flaws,
including clicks. However having heard both discs, I can say that the upgrade is for me a significant improvement.

How to tell the 2 sets apart:
=============================
For disc #1, compare track times with those listed above.
Discs #2 and #3 have the same track lengths and peak levels. For these discs you should listen for the
listed flaws in d3t1. If you can't hear the flaws, then either:
(1) Your hi-fi cannot reproduce the clicks
OR (2) Your ears cannot hear the clicks
OR (3) You have the upgraded version

I took the 2 versions of Me & My Uncle (d2t6), chopped off a few samples at the beginning (to a specific point -
ie to allow for the different offsets), inverted one wave and cross-mixed them.
This means I was subtracting one wave from the other. Identical files would result in a silent waveform.
The result I got was silent for the first few seconds, but then Me & My Uncle appeared, in a somewhat tonally-
distored form. I believe this would occur as various samples were dropped (ie missing) in one wave and as the
differences gathered pace a distorted version of the wave emerged. The tonal quality of the resultant audio
changes quite regularly; every 5 or 6 seconds there is a change in the bass/treble/phasing. This suggests to me
that a digital>digital transfer at some stage in the game was failing quite badly (every 5 or 6 seconds).
