Jamie Walters
How do you talk to a rebel... like Jamie Walters? Drop a few names like Pennzoil and Chevrolet and the guy starts to shred. You, see, Jamie recently dumped the glitz of Hollywood for a place in the 'burbs--not for the piece and quite but for a four-car garage. "I've finally found a place where I can work on all my cars," says the twenty-four-years-old actor/singer. "My roommate is a mechanic and we've got four cars going right now." His current hot project is rebuilding a '67 Mustang for his friend Christina Tyrell. Turns out, Jamie owes Christina a lot. "She's turning me into a presentable guy," he admits. "She's got me to quit smoking. I've given up tattoos , and I cook." We don't know about the food, but the new album Jamie is working on sounds tasty. But don't expect sugar-coated pop like How Do You Talk To an Angel, written for his last day job, The Heights. "This record will be different," he explains. "The Heights music was mainstream, but my tastes aren't. I started out in hard-core bands, then moved into rock and blues. This, hopefully, will be a mix of it all." Gentlemen (and ladies), start your stereos.
