Games 7-12

Game 7:
Matt and Casey vs. Nate and Scott
While Luke and Holt left to "eat", play resumed as usual. The scoring began in the bottom of the second when Nate hit a one-out single. Scott immediately homered for the third time this year. Casey answered in the top of the third with a two-run shot of his own. But in the bottom of the third, Nate hit his very first homer…ever. Later, in the bottom of the fourth, Scott hit a two-run insurance dong to extend the lead. Final Score: 5-2.
Matt had a sort of slump this game, going 0-7 with 4 K's. Casey's only hit was his homerun. Scott and Nate combined to go 6-18 with three HR's. Scott pitched two no-hit innings and recorded 5 strikeouts.

Game 8:
Nate, Matt, and Luke vs. Holt, Joey, and Casey
Going into the top of the fourth, Nate, Matt, and Luke held a 3-0 lead thanks to two dongs by Matt, his 7th and 8th. But with Holt pitching, they would erupt in the fourth. Holt got the first two outs via K and groundout, but Nate singled, then Matt hit his 9th HR of the year. 3 singles later, Luke hit a grandslam, making the lead 9-0. All Joey, Holt, and Casey could muster in the bottom of the fourth was a two-run HR by Joey. Final Score: 9-2.
Matt rebounded from his 0-7 game with a 5-8 game with 3 HR's. Joey managed to go 4-6, but Holt and Casey combined to go 3-13. Holt was only 1-7 with, again, no extra-base hits. He also struck out 4 times.

Day 3
Game 9:
Luke and Kenny vs. Matt and Terry
Game 9 brought rookie Kenny Ball his first ever AB's in Wiffle Ball. He and Luke scored all 3 of their runs in the top of the first. Luke singled, Kenny walked, and then Luke crushed a three-run homerun, his third. In the bottom half of the frame, Matt hit his league-leading 10th HR. Then, in the bottom of the fourth, he hit his 11th, but it was only a solo shot, and Luke and Kenny won the game. Final Score: 3-2.
In addition to Kenny, Terry also had his first AB's of season 3. He went 1-8 with a double. He did only strike out once, something he did a lot in past seasons. Kenny went 4-7 with a double. Luke only went 2-10, but his three-run dong won the game. Matt finished the game 3-7 with a double and two dongs. He also has a very comfortable lead in the HR department.

Game 10:
Luke, Kenny, and Scott vs. Jason, Derek, and Mark
I have no idea how many records this game broke. 33 runs were scored, 16 HR's were hit, there were 29 hits, and the game only went 4 innings. Jason Eberhardt and Derek Byrd made their Wiffle Ball debuts and didn't fare too well. I'm not even going to try to give a game summary, but I will say that 20 runs were scored in the 2nd and 3rd innings for Luke, Kenny, and Scott. Back-to-back-to-back-to-back homeruns were hit in the third by Luke, Kenny, Scott, and then Luke again. Basically, it was a massacre. Final Score: 23-10.
It's hard to recognize, but even though they lost, Jason, Derek, and Mark's 10 runs were the second highest total in league history at The Sack. Luke went 10-13 with 6 homeruns and 13 RBI's. Kenny went 5-8 with two dongs, and Scott went 4-10 with 3 dongs. In their first games at the plate, Jason went 5-9 with 3 dongs and Derek went 1-6 with 3 K's. Mark quietly went 4-7 with two homeruns. Mark and Derek combined to give up 20 runs, 15 hits, and 8 homeruns. They only struck out one and walked six.

Game 11:
Jason, Matt, and Joey vs. Scott, Luke, and Casey
All the scoring in this game came in the bottom of the first when Scott hit a leadoff homer, then later hit a two-run job. Other than those hits, there were only six singles. Basically, it was the opposite of the previous game. Final Score: 3-0.
Jason followed his 5-9 effort with an 0-6 game. He also gave up all three runs. Matt and Joey both went 2-5 but all four hits were scattered singles. Luke and Casey both went 1-4. Pretty boring game.

Game 12:
Mark, Jason, and Matt vs. Derek, Casey, and Luke
Derek struggled on the mound yet again as he surrendered six runs in two innings. Mark started off the scoring in the top of the first with two straight singles. Jason followed with a three run homer. Luke then hit a solo shot in the bottom of the second. In the top of the fourth, though, Matt singled, Mark singled him home, then Jason hit his second homerun of the game, a two run job. Derek, Casey, and Luke went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning to end the game. Final Score: 6-1.
Mark again went a quiet 4-7. Jason finished 2-6 with 5 RBI's. Luke's homerun proved to be their only hit. In this one-hitter, Mark rebounded from his horrid game #10 with 2 no-hit innings with 3 K's.
