George left us only a few days prior to this writing. It's still so hard to believe. We were truly blssed to have him among us and are grateful that his contributions to the Beatles are finally being recognized. As a guitarist, he was criminally under-rated. As for songwriting, in case you are tempted to think that he couldn't write on par with John and Paul, remember that George penned Frank Sinatra's "favorite Lennon-McCartney song." ("Something") And we have George to thank for the influence of Eastern music and philosophy on the Beatles, their music, and their story. He had a wonderful solo career, and his voice only improved with age.
And so...here's a biography, discography, links, and several other miscellaneous widgets, all in Hari's honor. May he rest in peace.
