Innovation

Innovation plays a key role in making original riffs and or techniques. I made, mutatuted I should say, this technique. I call it the invultap. I never heard anyone do this, usually a finger is used for tapping, but nonetheless as far as I know it is original. You should get the idea. It is important to innovate, because if you don't you could end up as "just another nameless guy or girl that plays guitar". Use the edge of the pick and flex your arm really hard and it should shake, slam it into the fretboard on the string and try to keep the point of impact very accurate behind the fret. Switching frets is awkward and don't hurt your self, when you stop after, you'll know what I mean. (t=tap, w=whole bunch).... By the way, if you want to see innovation, and speed for that matter, check out Speed Kills... you know the video from MetalMethod. Oh yeah, on stage I tap on the 24th fret where the slide is, but it sounded to radical to put on the wav.
