A Little Legato
Basically, Legato is a form of playing that involves less picking and more hammers, pulls, and slides. This makes the piece being played sound smoother, and if you are not a shredder, it will make a fast lick easier to play, in some cases.
Well, here is an example of some Legato playing. If the lines go over, turn your font to a smaller size. Here is the explanation: h= hammer on, p= pull off, /= slide up, \=slide down, the <,> are to show the harmonic, when you pull onto the open G string hit the whammy bar down a couple steps touch the string right above the 4th fret and return to pitch then go a couple steps higher.
