Michael is a percussion lecturer at The University of Newcastle Faculty & Conservatorium of Music in New South Wales Australia, and has set up this site in order to provide information for his many students, and to provide access to the numerous musical sites of interest to teachers, drummers and percussionists from around the world. Here you will find  information on professional ensembles, solo artists, relevant resource materials for students/teachers and the current activities of the many musical organisations with which he is involved. The Event Calendar is a good source of information with regard to upcoming concerts, workshops etc with a focus on drums and percussion. As for 'Sebastian' - the cat, I can't sit at the computer without him wanting to jump all over the keyboard ... so I have decided to include a page of his own.
