was superb. We decided that once definetly was not
enough, so we got tickets to his show in Dallas,

EC's guitar work from 66 thru 72(Cream thru Derek)is fantastic.He had Jack Bruce pushing him in "The Cream", & Duane brought out his very best in the smac saturated Layla seesions. He stumbled through the rest of the 70's.Phil Collins showed him a path to
commercial success in the 80's,all be it enjoyable enough to us Clapton starved fans.However, EC has sold out in the 90's.This yuppified drivel he has released proves him to be a mere shadow of the performer he once was.His Pilgrim release should have bee

I was at last night's show at MSG. As always EC was great! Pilgrim is MUCH BETTER live. No matter how many times I listen to Pilgrim, I haven't been able to figure out why a great blues guitarist would want to compete with electronically produced sound
on HIS album. I was very disappointed. When I saw the video, My Father's Eyes, I laughed. I had been saying that Pilgrim sounded very Mariah Caryish...I was right. Right down to the dancers! I also wanted to comment on the audience sitting around me
at MSG. I felt like I was at a Partridge Family concert with the Brady Bunch. Who are these people in tennis sweaters that bring their ten year olds and talk on their cell phones during the concert? Oh, by the way, radio station Z100 was outside MSG, w
