How can I express my desire
   to be with her?
Have I ever felt happiness like this?
   I'm not too sure!

What could I do to express myself?

I suppose I could count
   the ways that I love thee...
But that ain't right
   'cause that ain't me

Compare her to 
   the sun, moon and stars?
Man, what a joke
   I'll save that one for the bars

I'd give her
   diamonds and
      rubies and
         pearls
But, I don't think she's one of those
      "swanky" girls

I should take her to 
   London or
      Paris or
          Rome
But to tell you the truth
      I'd rather stay home

I'd climb the tallest mountain
   or swim 
to the bottom of the sea
         Wait!
I'd probably fall short of breath
(and then there'd be nothing left of me!)

Roses are red
   and violets are blue
      and I'm out of ideas 
         to try and impress you!

What can I say
   to make you believe
      that when I'm with you
         I'm completely relieved!

That musical voice
   that curious charm
      those beautiful eyes
         and those muscular arms

No inhibitions
   no sense of time
      this space left vacant
         WANTED : a rhyme!

Give me a second
   it's coming to me
      I think I know how
         to make you see

When you look through my eyes
     and see what I see,
 Well,
  you may not be beautiful,
      but gorgeous...

                     is all I see!!
