Who in the Hell is POLARIS A-3?

It all began sometime in late 94' when Jeromy Zehmer and Tom Muise got together and played a few tunes. Sure it wasn't bad but they were certainly not a band. Than one day JJ Connely a friend of both Jeromy and Graham, introduced Graham to Jeromy and they begain to jam out songs and have fun. They realized they wouldn't be bad if they had somebody who knew what they were doing on guitar and got Dave Wilmot and put Graham on bass. They started writing songs and practising often until finally they reached the conclusion that they were a band and they needed a show. Their first appearance and only appearance together was at a church called North Park Free Methadist church. They were the first band to go on and everybody thought they were going to suck but we put on a good show and they changed their mind about us. Somebody who was in that audience was Jeff Galagher and he thought he could help us out a little so he arranged for us to record a three song demo at his friends recording studio (Deadroom Recordings). Before they went to record they picked up a new bass player Mike Murray and put Graham on guitar and went into the studio to record "Freedom", "Rise to the sun" and Feel.

After that things started going down hill. We kicked out Dave and Mike and got Dan Hunter as a guitarist and put Graham back on bass. The band just wasn't the same and something wasn't right so Jeromy and Graham quit and decided to start another band up called "Generation Swine".

Generation Swine consisted of:

Adam M - vocals
Graham Duboy - guitar
Rob McKinnon - guitar
Colin Braun - bass
Jeromy Zehmer - drums

Within a week they played their first show at Home Grown 97, things did not really work out and Graham quit the band. After a couple of weeks Jeromy, Colin and Graham got together again and decided to reserect Polaris after a bit of practice they decided to play a show at Empessa but they still lacked vocals. Tom Muise came back into the picture and rejoined the band and it seemed like nothing could stop us, after playing a few shows we went to the studio and recorded another demo tape called "Freedom to Feel". The demo tape lacked a bit of energy but it was still a major improovement since their last demo tape. The band than discovered that the name Polaris had already been taken so they changed it to Polaris A3 (and are currently looking for a better name). Polaris A3 was the name of the nuclear war head designed to destroy earth. Than we were asked to be on a compilation C.D. to be released in March some time so we went in and recorded our fist real single "Doom". The compolation C.D will be realeased sometime in early March.

Right now we just introduced a new bass player Ken Hines who used to be in the band "Hopeless". We are currently working on new songs and a way to take over the southern ontario music scene.

Polaris A-3's current line-up is:

Tom Muise - Vocals
Graham Duboy - Guitar
Jeremy Zehmer - Guitar
Ken Hines - Bass
Mike Angel - Drums
