Since I was a little boy I have been listening to music, Growing up with bands like KISS, AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath. Music has always been a way of life for me, I started to play the guitar at age 13, but was more influenced at being a bass player like Gene Simmons, to me the bass was a very sexual instrument, the bottom of the band, so I started to play the bass in bands and shit. As the 80's went on there were bands like Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne took off, and the whole LA metal scene was HUGE, bands like Ratt, Quiet Riot, Warrant, Poison were the popular bands of the time. But as the 80's came to a close there was Metallica that started to take over, and Megadeth, that was the NEW sound. The 90's saws Nirvana, NIN, White Zombie, Soundgarden, and the emergance of the OLD punk style of rock that just took off like a rocket.
To me Music has to have balls, it has to have the basic guitar, bass, and drums and a vocalist with BALLS. Dance crap to me is just a new version of DISCO, and we all know how much DISCO sucks shit. I am not a big fan of country, but I don't mind some of it. Garth Brooks is a KISS fan. With the recent KISS reuniun TOUR over now, KISS had the chance to show the world just how the BIG boys do it, and it seems like to me that PARTY ROCK is making a comeback, let's hope so, that was REAL MUSIC.
