How It Applies To Everyday Life
Let's take a look at how the Third Law
applies to everyday life. Let's say you're driving your car on any average day.
Did you know that's Physics, and that it applies to the Third Law too?
The tires are exerting a force onto the pavement, and the ground is exerting an
equal and oppposite force on the car. Therefore, the car is acting and the
ground is reacting. Remember: Forces always occur in pairs!
The wheels are exerting a downward force on the ground, and the ground
is exerting an equal upward force onto the tires. The forces do not cancel each
other out.
