PLOT: Toyland's ruthless miser Barnaby (David A. Scott) connives to cheat his niece and nephew (Anthony Curren, Sarah Schlueter-Eisman) out of an inheritance. An operetta, based on nursery rhyme and other characters.

HISTORY: The Keuka Lake Players' attempt at performing this show in 2007 (which was canceled due to renovations of their venue) made me curious about seeing a complete production for an original version of this story (which I'd grown up seeing multiple film adaptations of). So, I submitted the show for consideration by the Lake Country Players. After being voted into the Top Five selections list, it was researched and reviewed by Tracy, and later voted in by the group as their 2009 Fall musical.
