If I recall correctly, John Martin and I had some sort of wager riding on this afternoon. Although experiencing some trying moments in the rough on the 6th, I managed to par this hole en route to a 3 stroke victory over my lamentable sidekick, who had to coin up for the go-kart rides later that day. John is a much better putter but his brutal slices and hooks on tee shots into swamps, pastures and parking lots eventually caught up with him on the scorecard. John was rattled after the defeat, forgetting the camera in the golf bag. We rented clubs for this tournie, some of which are still on the course, and bare a striking resemblance to the ones that struck Kramer and Newman's mail truck.
