Let There Be Light

The problem with a lot of rock and metal bands is a lot of times they won't lighten up or settle down a bit. This is an example of easing it down a little and still being able to have a good sounding riff. Their should be a variance of this "light and darkness" so that all metal won't sound the same. When guitar players just play one way, it will always get boring. So, the moral of the story is: Variety!!! (You should be able to determine where to lay a heavy palm and where to stomp the box.)
