Hong Kong Beckons
Following his huge success in Taiwan and South-east Asia last year, American-born Chinese singer/songwriter Leehom Wang is spreading his wings to Hong Kong.
According to the multi-talented artiste, his plan to "market" himself in Hong Kong actually kicked off towards the end of last year. "However, due to my hectic work schedule in Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore, I only had the opportunity to make a few short visits to Hong Kong last year to study the Chinese music market. This year, though, I will be more aggressive in promoting my music in Hong Kong," Leehom enthuses.
Though he had yet to perform in Hong Kong, Leehom admits to receiving a lot of fan mail from the ex-British colony. "I'm really excited about meeting my Hong Kong fans!!"
To thank his fans for their support, Leehom says that he has lined up a "romantic" outing for them to Clear Water Bay[a Hong Kong tourist attraction]. "My fans and I will be able to enjoy the breathtaking night view of Hong Kong from there," he laughs.
