"Welcome to our home away from home," Nick said, as he herded Leigh and Cordelia onto the tour bus. "Those people necking are Kevin and Vanessa Anderson."
"Hello," Kevin said.
"This is Leigh, and this is Cordelia," Nick said. He turned to the Taylor's and said, "Kev and V are engaged."
"Congratulations," Leigh and Cordelia said at the same time. Everyone started laughing.
Nick moved to the back of the bus. "You probably recognize Howie. I know Leigh's met AJ. AJ, this is Leigh's sister Cordelia. Howie, this is Leigh and Cordelia."
Howie smiled. "Hey! Nice to meet you." He pointed to a pretty woman curled up in a chair. "That's Deanna, my girlfriend."
"Tell her it was nice to see her," Cordelia said. She tossed her blond hair over her shoulder. "Since we didn't exactly meet."
"Will do," Howie said.
"Is this better?" AJ asked Leigh.
"What?" Leigh asked.
"My hair," AJ said, pointing to his newly dyed hair.
"Yes. Blue suits you much better than pink," Leigh said. "But I hope someone took pictures."
"Trust me, we did," Nick said, laughing.
"Pink?" Cordelia asked.
"Yeah," AJ said. "It was bad."
"Is someone missing?" Leigh asked.
"Yeah. Where is Brian?" Nick asked.
"He got a call from Dallas on his cell and he went into the bathroom for privacy," AJ said.
"Dallas is his significant other," Nick whispered to Leigh.
"Speak of the devil," AJ said, as Brian emerged from the bathroom.
"Brian, I want you to meet Leigh Taylor and her sister Cordelia," Nick said.
"Nice to meet you," Brian said unconvincingly.
"What's the matter?" AJ asked.
"Dallas isn't coming," Brian said.
"Did you break up?" Howie asked.
"No," Brian said, plopping into a chair. "She had some problems at work. She'd get fired if she didn't stay."
"That sucks," Nick said.
"You guys want food?" Howie asked.
"No thanks," Leigh said.
"Already had room service," Cordelia answered.
"Spoiling yourself?" AJ asked.
"Yeah," Cordelia answered. "Cuz I'm lazy that way."
"Isn't everybody?" AJ answered.
Nick and Leigh sat down while AJ and Cordelia finished their conversation on laziness.
"Is Brian gonna be okay?" Leigh asked.
"He should be fine," Nick said. "At least he's found someone who loves him."
"What about you?" Leigh asked.
"Not yet," Nick said. "I just broke up with someone, but that wasn't love."
The bus stopped. "I guess we're here," Nick said, helping Leigh stand up.
"Thanks for the ride," Leigh said.
"No prob," Nick said.
"I'll see you after the show," Leigh said, impulsively kissing him on the cheek.
"Yeah," Nick said. "After the show."
