"Hey Grace!" Brian exclaimed. "Long time no see!"
"Hey B-Rok," Grayson said. "I'm glad you called. I'd hoped we could still be friends."
"Of course we can," Brian said.
"How've you been?" Grayson asked.
"Busy," Brian said. "We're recording a new song for a movie album."
"Cool," Grayson said.
"I can understand why you wouldn't want to talk about that," Brian said.
"Any women?" Grayson asked.
"Me?" Brian asked. "I wish."
Grayson smiled. "So how is he?"
"You really want to know?" Brian asked. Grayson nodded. "He's been miserable without you."
"Why?"
"He loved you," Brian said. "Loves you."
"Then whay did he leave me?" Grayson asked.
"He saw you with another guy," Brian said.
"Another guy?" Grayson asked. "When?"
"The day after your anniversary," Brian answered. "In the mall."
"I didn't see any guy in the-" Grayson suddenly went pale. "Omigod, Ryan."
"Ryan?" Brian asked.
"I ran into an ex and we talked. I kissed him good-bye," Grayson said. "I was buying a hat for AJ."
"So it was a misunderstanding?" Brian asked.
"A big misunderstanding," Grayson said. "I thought he left me because I slept with him."
Brian and Grayson ate some pizza and then Grayson went home. Brian got out his cell phone and called Nick. "Hey Frack? Yeah, I talked to her. You were right. I have no idea. You're the mastermind."
Brian hung up his cell phone and smiled. He hoped that every guy in the world was as lucky as he was to have friends who were always looking out for each other. It was cool to be able to give back to one of the guys. He hoped things worked out for AJ and Grayson, because they both seemed miserable.
