"What's up with Howie and Deanna?" Nick asked AJ in their hotel room later that night. "They barely talked to each other on the bus."
"She told Howie she needed some space," AJ answered. He threw himself on his bed.
"Wow, that's harsh," Nick said. "Who's she rooming with?"
"Fatima," AJ answered.
"Well, I hope they get along," Nick said.
"You're still allowed to be her friend," AJ said.
"I know," Nick exclaimed.
There was a knock at the door. Nick opened the door and Brian and Howie came in. "What up?"
"Nada mucho," Howie answered quietly.
"Wanna order a movie?" Nick asked.
"Yeah, I think they have 'Scream 2'," Brian answered.
"Let us in!" Kevin bellowed.
"Alrighty then," Nick said. "Hey V and Deanna. Knocking does work Kevin."
Howie turned and smiled at Deanna. "We were about to get a pay-per-view movie."
"I ordered a few pizzas," Kevin said. "The front desk said they'd send 'em here."
"What kind?" Nick asked.
"An extra large with everything and an extra large meat lovers," Kevin answered. Nick's face fell. Kevin laughed hard, and Vanessa elbowed him in the ribs.
"Don't do that to him Kev!" Vanessa laughed. "I ordered a large extra extra cheese for you Nick."
Nick hugged Vanessa and spun her around. "You are great! Keep Train over there in line!"
"I will," Vanessa laughed.
Howie walked over to Deanna. "How are you doing?"
"I'm okay," Deanna said.
"Just tell me if you need something, okay?" Howie said.
"Thanks Howie," Deanna said.
AJ came over and messed up Howie's hair. "Oh, you asked for it McLean!" They promptly got into a scrap fight.
Vanessa walked over to Nick and asked, "What's up between Howie and Deanna?"
"Why would I know?" Nick asked.
"Beacause you always know all the good tour gossip," Vanessa said.
"She needs space," Nick whispered.
"Oh," Vanessa whispered, looking at Deanna.
