This page is not to tell you the story of what happened with me and my friends when we ran away its going to tell you of the things that happen when you are caught and trust me you will be caught I gatta give it to the cops they are really good at finding the runaways that run ramant on the streets of our great nation. You may think you can run far from them and it will take them a long time to find you but your wrong. I live in NC and I ran away to Jacksonville FL and I was caught on the fourth day at ten in the morning..
When we were caught. We were taken to the Juvi place in Durah county FL. We were made to sit in this tiny room from 12 until 6pm. At that time they came in and seperated us. I was taken in the back and had my fingerprints taken as well as my picture. Like a common criminal. I was then made to wait until 12 that night when they put handcuffs on my legs and my wrists and took me to anthor place whene i was made to stay until 2am when they finally proccesed me and took me back. Where i was made to take off all of my clothing and shower in front of a woman then i was given this ugly jumpsuit and sent to bed. Jail was no picnick. Waking up at 4am to brush your teeth and comb your hair going back to bed and then getting back up at 6am to eat and then going back to bad and getting up at 8am to sit around all day and do nothing no tv no radio no nothing. Your given to calls a week and two letters a week. Thanks to my mom who did some hard work i only had to serve 4 days but the night mare wasn't over yet.
When I got home I thought everything was fine. Yeah i was grounded and my car )a lovley 97 chevy calviler) taken away for five months. but so what i was home where i wanted to be. Until a week later when a cop showed up at my door with two warrents for my arrest. I am 16 and the two girls that went with me angel 15 and crystal 14 were concidered miniors which i did not know. and they arrested me for taken them outta state. Well my cuz was the cop who took me in and got me off on a 600.00 unsecured bond so I got to come home. But I had to go out and get a lawyer (750.00) and I don't know what will happen i have to go to court i may get probation and coumminuty service or I may get some more jailtime with way it goes its not worth it.
SO IF YOUR THINKING OF RUNNING AWAY YOU WANT BE GONE FOR LONG THE COPS WILL FIND YOU AND WHEN THEY DO YOU WILL BE IN A HELL OF A LOT OF TROUBLE SO THINK OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN BEFORE YOU EVEN WALK OUT THE DOOR.
