Well here we go, my
name is Nathalie, and I'm 18 years old. I just finished my first year at
the University of Maine at Machias. Officially my major is Liberal Arts
(the major for people who don't know what they want to be when they grow
up!) but this coming semester I am going to change that to English and
Behavioral Science. Eventually I want to do improv theatre with high
school kids. I have done a lot of theatre. Last semester I played Lisa in
a stage production of The Simpsons, and I played one of the Apostles in
Jesus Christ Superstar. This summer I played one of the Mule Drivers in
Man of La Mancha, and I'm playing Officer Brophy in Arsenic and Old Lace.
Some other shows that I've been in over the years are Grease, The Diary of
Anne Frank, Cinderella, The Secret Garden, George M, See Saw, and Mame.
I'm looking forward to auditioning for Rhinocerus this fall. This fall I'm
also going to be taking private voice lessons, hopefully to develop a
decent enough singing voice that I can get a good part in Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the spring semester. I work a glamorous
job at a charming local restaraunt (meaning I cook burgers at McDonalds)
and this fall I will be writing some articles for a local newspaper, the
Downeast Coastal Press. I have lived all over this fine country. I was
born in southern California, lived there until I was nine, then moved to
New Jersey and was the ultimate Jersey Girl until I moved here to downeast
Maine last year. I'm still a Jersey Girl, just no longer in my natural
environment which consists of strip malls, fast food restaraunts, and
all-night diners. My family lives near Ellsworth, about an hour and a half
drive from where I live in Machias. The moms (meaning my birthmom and her
partner Barbara) own a restaraunt in Ellsworth called the Purple Puffin
Cafe. I have three younger sisters and a younger brother who live with the
moms. I also have another younger brother who lives with my dad in
