![]() Here's my story. ![]() I'm sure all the shows seven years ago are just a blur to them now (I know there's lots of concerts that I went to that are like that), but BAD's show was so special to me. Not only did I get to hear their tunes (which I loved) but they took the time to chat w/ me, sign some autographs, pose for some photos... yes, the standard schtick, but they went above and beyond the typical. I said how much I loved the songs "Blind Ambition" and "Dream Train" off the new album. I asked if they were going to play those songs... would they please consider playing those... They hadn't played them on the tour at all, etc. etc....So I figured that I wouldn't hear them. And what do play but "Dream Train." At the first note, I'm sure the expression on my face was a classic. I couldn't believe it. I think I stood there agape and bug-eyed for 60 seconds! It was quite the thrill. Then, of course, after I put my eyeballs back in my face, I went nuts. (Hee hee hee.) So that's my little story. I guess the web page is my way of saying thanks for being so nice to your fans. ![]() Here's a memory submitted by a fan: You asked for memories of B.A.D. in concert? I remember one at the Omni in Oakland. It was Halloween with a lot of interesting costumes. Derek came running out on stage, spun and ran back towards the drum riser. He slipped on something and went crashing into the drum kit! He was definitely sore for the rest of the show, but managed to pull it off with only a few grimmaces. Anyways, I don't know if this was the type of comment you wanted to hear or not, but there you go! Adios, Elliott. ------ Thanks for your submission!
