Authors Note:
1) When I diss on Nick Carter in this story,
well, it pained me to write it. I like Nick. I think he's hot and the photos
that I refer to later in the story, well I had to wipe the drool off the
magazine several times... So you know, the insults are all for the sake
of the story.
2) Okay, I needed to write something cheesy to
cheer myself up (and procrastinate from doing laundrey, the dishes, homework
or cleaning my room.) One thing I like to do is come up with Music Video
concepts. This story was a concept and I thought I'd just write it out
for the hell of it. I think it would make an awesomely funny video and
I don't think it would leave the number one spot for the 65 days it would
be on TRL. If anyone knows a way I could submit it let me know!
3) This is stupid... don't say I didn't warn
you!
IT MAKES ME ILL
a justin timberlake, um, vignette
I was hanging with the fellas
Saw you with your new boyfriend, it made me
jealous
I was hoping that I'd never see you with him
But it's all good, 'cause I'm glad that I
met him
Heh
'Cause now I know the competition's very slim
to none
And I can tell by looking that he's not the
one
He's not the type you said you liked
His style is wack, clothes are bad
Come on, girl, let him go
I want you back
"Yo Dude!" Chris whispered loudly in Justin’s ear. "Ain’t that Molly?" He pointed off into the crowd.
Justin turned his head towards the direction of Chris’s finger. He narrowed his eyes.
"Yes," he growled. "Her and her new boy toy."
"That guy looks really familiar," Lance said. He had scrunched up his eyes and lips as he was contemplating the two people in the distance.
"Yeah," Joey agreed. "He looks really familiar."
Justin narrowed his eyes, but they suddenly bugged wide open. The guy had blond hair and a pair of wire-rim glasses on his nose. He was wearing a button up shirt open over a wife beater and a pair of baggy blue jeans.
"F-in A dudes, that’s Nick Carter!"
Call me a hater, if you want to
But I only hate on him 'cause I want you
Say I'm trippin' if you feel like
But you without me ain't right
You can say I'm crazy, if you want to
That's true-- I'm crazy 'bout you
You could say I'm breakin' down inside
'Cause I can't see you with another guy
"No way!" Joey said. He squinted his eyes. He needed glasses badly, but he felt it ruined the sexy image he had going. "It is!"
"What’s Molly doing with Nick Carter?" Lance asked.
"Damned if I know," Justin said. He was slowly turning red. "I mean all I did was say I wanted to see other people."
"Well it looks like she’s more than seeing other people," JC laughed. "He’s all over her."
"How’d they even meet?" Lance asked again.
No one answered. They were all watching Justin steam in his seat. If he’d been a teakettle he would have been whistling by now.
It makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him
Oh, it makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him
"That’s it!" Justin growled loudly. "I’m going over there."
"Justin! No!" Lance yelled lunging for his friend, but he was too late. "Don’t do anything stupid," he yelled finally.
Justin stalked over to the table, his footsteps loud even in the noisy cafeteria.
"Justin," Nick said all happy like as he stood up in his seat. "I didn’t know you guys were in town."
"Oh we’re very much in town," Justin growled. "Molly, what are you doing here?"
Molly smiled sweetly. "Hello Justin, how are you? Good? I’m glad. Oh how am I? I’m fine. Thank you so much for asking."
Nick looked back and forth between the two of them. "You two know each other?"
"We’ve met," Molly said before Justin could reply.
"Nick and I were actually just leaving, weren’t we sweetie?"
Nick smiled and took Molly’s hand. "It was good to see you Justin. Good luck on tour."
Justin managed to retain some semblance of civility and grunted. "You too."
Molly and Nick walked away hand in hand.
Four men came up behind Justin. All of them were laughing.
"Boy did you just get dissed," JC smirked.
Chris was nearly doubled over laughing. "You got dumped for a Backstreet Boy!"
"Shaddup," Justin said before he stalked towards the limousine that was waiting out front for them.
Lance had to support Chris as they followed Justin out to the car. "That is too classic. He got dumped for a Backstreet Boy!"
Girl I know that we broke up
But that doesn't mean you should give the
cold shoulder
'Cause you know that I truly do adore ya
And that other guy can't do nothin' for ya
Uh
See
I can tell that you don't really love that
guy
But there's no need for you to go and waste
your time
I think you know I love ya more
Girl you gotta let him go
I want you so just give him the door
Justin pounded furiously on the apartment door. "Molly, let me in."
The door opened and the shorter girl stood in front of him. "Can I help you?"
"Cut the crap Molly," Justin said as he pushed his way into the room. "What the hell are you doing with Nick Carter?"
"You were the one that wanted to see other people Justin," Molly said.
"I didn’t want to break up with you entirely," Justin said. "I just wanted to…"
"Feel free to make out, vertically fuck, be the player that you always have been?"
"That’s not true," Justin protested. "I wanted to…"
"See if we were really right together?" Molly began walking back towards the door and opened it.
"Well, yeah, but…"
"Goodnight Justin. It was so good to see you. Be sure to drop by again sometime."
Justin looked at his ex girlfriend. "Molly, wait."
"Goodnight Justin," Molly repeated as she shut the door in his face.
Call me a hater, if you want to

You can say I'm trippin' if you feel like

"Goddammit!" Justin yelled into the empty room. He was staring at the pictures of Nick from the Teen People shoot. "What does he have that I don’t?"
There was a knock on his bedroom door. "Curls?" JC said stepping into the room. He had on a bathrobe and he was yawning. "It’s three a.m. can you please get some sleep?"
"What does he have that I don’t have?" Justin asked thrusting the magazine into JC’s face. "I mean he’s not good looking. Who would want that hair? And that smirk? That would drive me up the f-in wall!"
"I don’t know," JC yawned again. "Maybe he wanted a commitment."
"I’m 19! Why should I have to commit to someone?" Justin paced the room again. "Why the hell did she have to go and start dating him."
"It’s three a.m. Justin. Go to sleep."
JC left the room before he could see if Justin had done as he’d requested.
It makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him
Oh, it makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will

Justin sat behind the wheel of his car glaring into the darkness of the drive in Movie Theater.
"Justin," Lance said. "The movie’s in front of us, not over that way—oh," Lance trailed off.
"They haven’t even looked at the movie screen," Justin said.
"I thought it was a little funny you wanted to come see Runaway Bride," Lance said.
"Hey, you came with me," Justin said turning to Lance. "That doesn’t say a whole lot about you."
"It’s Julia," Lance said. "I love Julia."
"Well I love Molly," Justin growled. His attention went back to the Explorer kitty corner to them. "Goddamn, do they ever come up for air?"
Lance laughed. "You gave her lots of practice in not coming up for air. I imagine that Nick’s had the same job training girls."
"I think I’m going to be sick," Justin said as he started the car.
"Hey," Lance said. "We’re just getting to the best part where they kiss."
"Aw, rent it," Justin said. The small purple car pealed out of the parking lot.
In the Explorer two people finally came up for air. Both of them looked out the windows and at the retreating cars.
"Think he’s mad enough?" Nick asked.
"Almost," Molly said. "It shouldn’t be long now."
Ohhhhhhhh
It makes me ill cause you used to be my girl
Used to be (my girl) Used to be my girl yeahhh
It makes me ill (oooo) cause you used to be
my girl (c'mon)
My girl
So baby come back to me (baaaaaby)
Justin walked over the worn path in the carpet of his room. "I need to get her back," he muttered. "How do I get her back?"
In the rooms on either side of him earplugs were pushed further into two sets of ears.
"Go to sleep Justin!" two voices yelled at the same time.
Justin jumped slightly and made his way to the bed. He sat down on the edge for a few seconds before he got up and started pacing again.
It makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will (at his willll)
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him (when I see you with him)
Oh, it makes me ill (baby I'm jealous)
To see you give
Love and attention at his will (at his will)
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him
Justin pounded on the door to the apartment for the second time in two days. "Molly, open up."
As he was preparing to pound again, the door flew open and Justin barely was able to stop his wrist before he hit the person standing on the other side. When he saw whom it was he almost wished that his wrist had kept going.
Nick Carter stood there with wet hair and a small white towel wrapped around his waist.
"Justin!" Nick said. "So good to see you! You’re up before nine. That’s a miracle. Did they IV the cereal into your bloodstream?"
Justin merely growled and pushed his way past the blond man. "Where’s Molly?"
"She’s in the shower still. It’s lucky she heard the knock. We were a little distracted."
Justin hadn’t thought it possible to be angrier than he already was.
"What the F are you doing with her?" he spat. "She’s my girl."
Oh it makes me ill
To see you give
Love and attention at his will
And you can't imagine how it makes me feel
To see you with him
(you can't imagine how it makes me feel)
"I’m not anyone’s girl," Molly said as she walked out of her bedroom fully dressed.
"You’ve always been my girl," Justin said. "I thought you were in the shower."
"If you aren’t going to commit to me, I’m not your girl Justin. I’m not going to be one of ‘your girls.’ If I am one, I’m going to be the only one."
"You will be," Justin said hurriedly. "Just please come back to me."
"I don’t know Justin," Molly said. "Nick’s willing to commit to me and only me. How do I know you’ll do that?"
"Because I love you," Justin said. "I love you so much. I was scared, but I’ve done some soul searching in the last few days and now I know that you’re the only one for me."
Justin looked at Nick, who was smiling widely, and then back at Molly. "He’s not right for you. I am."
He looked at Nick again who was smiling still. "Why the hell are you smiling? I’m trying to steal your girlfriend. You’re s’posed to be laying the smack down on me now."
"I’m not his girlfriend," Molly said. "He’s just a friend, with temporary benefits."
"But you two were—"
"How else was I supposed to make you jealous?" Molly asked. "Who would get under your skin more than Nick Carter?"
Justin swallowed. "No one."
"You forgive me?" Molly asked seductively.
"Mm-hmm" Justin said as he leaned down to kiss Molly. They pulled apart when they heard a small coughing sound.
"Can I go get dressed now?" Nick asked.
Molly laughed. "Yeah. Thanks Nick."
"No problem." Nick left the room leaving Molly and Justin alone together.
Oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh oh oh
"Goddamn," Chris said as he walked out of Justin’s living room and into the kitchen where the rest of the guys were sitting. "Don’t they ever come up for air?"
"They’ve had lots of practice," Lance said. "I think they’re going for a world record."
"How many times they can make us all gag," JC added with a laugh..
"Mm-Hm," Joey said intelligently.
What? We gone and done it again! Messaaaaage
ohhhh!
(laughter of the guys) aha oh
