The Skinnydippers were Andy Bassett and Trish Kane, from Uncle John’s Band. The duo performed for several years outside of the band and sang live on National Radio in January 2005, months before Trish’s death on 24 June.Take This Road was released in March 2004, featuring 13 tracks produced, arranged, recorded, played and sung by Andy and Trish. Includes ten original songs by Andy, nine of which have never been previously released in any form. The album was recorded between July 2002 and January 2004, in their home studio, Little Pink (so named because it's much smaller than The Band's legendary house in Woodstock, Big Pink). |
