The BSB won an award for viewers choice at the VMA '99! Thay also did a great performance. Also, the new Larger than life video is out! I just saw it and it's pretty spacy! I especially like the dancing it! Go here for pics of the new video. I guess everybody already knows but A.J has a new girlfriend! She's one of the dancers for the millennium show. I hope he's not in too much pain! Nick has officially declared that he's going to do some solo things. He's going to take a few weeks off after the tour and record some demo's of the songs that he has written. He said that the songs are soft rock, much like Bryan Addams! I have seen pictures of Nick's tattoo. He has a shark on his left shoulder. So it's true that he has one. It isn't a fake! I think he got it here in Holland because he had it on june 5 but he didn't have one yet on june 4 in Frankfurt! The backstreet Boys are planning to do a duet with Mariah Carey. Brian said that they even talked on the phone with Mariah herself. They are pretty excited! I hope it's going to be something like Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, 'One sweet day'. I love that song! I went to the third concert of the Millenium tour yesterday. It was really good. Guess what I found out?! Nick's got a tattoo! He has a dolphin with a few waves on his left shoulder. I heard some other people thought he had a shark on his arm. I think that could be true too. I couldn't see it that good. A few people also believe that the tatoo is fake. I personally believe that he's got a tattoo. What do you think? Did you guys see Fanatic? I haven't but I heard from my friend that Nick finally admitted on TV that he has a girlfriend. BUMMER! I bought the Millennium yesterday and I think it is really good! I also like the pictures! Go buy it ASAP! It's going really good with the Backstreet Boys' single I want it that way. In Holland (where I live) they broke a record! They entered our charts at nr. 1 (wich only happened to the beatles and a few other artists) without being in the tipparade first! No artist has ever done that! They just came from nowhere to number 1!!! They have another record, they are the first group that had 9 single's in the top 5 in a row! Congratulations guys! That's really good! The new Backstreet Boys video will be on TV at May 3! It's going to be a world wide premiere. It was meant to be last Thuesday but what I heard was that there were some problems. It will be released on May 18 and the title will be Millennium! The new single will probably released on April 19 or somewere around that date. Rumours are that it will be 'Show me the meaning'. That's the song from the previews on the cd 'a night out with the bsb'. The video for the new single will be shoot at the end of February in the USA, probably in Los Angeles. The bsb will start preparing the World tour at the beginning of March. The show will have a brand new stage that will be placed in the middle of a stadium. And guess what?! During the show, the stage will be rotating!!! So, you can see them from all sides!! The show will contain 10 dancers, a huge live band and a background chior! I have some news about the new album. Kevin co-wroted a song on the album with a guy named Gary Baker. It's called 'Back to your heart'. Brian has written another song. He wrote 'Where can we go from here' (wich is on the video A night out with the bsb) but he also wrote a song called 'The perfect fan'. That song is written for the mothers of the bsb! Isn't that sweet? They're going to record it with a gospel chior! In the song 'Show me the meaning' (that song is a preview on the cd A night out with the bsb) will every backstreet boy have a solo-part. Finally is Kevin singing alone!! She lives in Tampa and is a friend of his sister BJ. She has blond hair and is a singer. They have been seeing each other for a copple of weeks now and Nick said that he was very much in love with her. He didn't want to say her name....... The new official tour dates are released!!! Way to go boys! The Backstreet Boys were on mtv news this week and they said that the new album would be finished in April, not in February. The reason is that Nick, A.J. and Howie are busy making demo's of songs that they wrote. When that is finished the boys can choose wich songs will be on the new album. Brian has already written two songs on the new album and Kevin co-wrote one song. The guys also said that they were hoping to get a new single out at the end of January but that they weren't sure if they would make that date. Guess what?! Nick's mom is going to release a book about her son. The title will be 'The heart and soul of Nick Carter'. As the title says, it will be about Nick's childhood. Probably personal things you have never heard before and PICTURES that are never shown before! I don't know when it will be released but I will tell you as soon as I know! Tonight were the Europe MTV Awards in Milan. The Backstreet Boys were nominated for two awards: 'best group' and 'best pop'. They didn't won any of those awards! Both 'best group' and 'best pop' went to the Spice Girls. The Backstreet Boys fired their managment!! Johnny and Donna Wright and the Backstreet Boys had a serious argument about a lot of money! The boys claime that they have a right on that money. Their management probably didn't agree. The guys said they didn't like what was happened. Now the boys are looking for a new managment. Johnny and Donna Wright also lost Solid HarmoniE. They didn't had any arguments with their managment. Since the middle of october you can buy the BSB box 'A night out with the backstreet Boys' in Europe. The box will be released in november in Canada. It contains a cd with 6 songs and a little surprise, a calendar, a (fake) backstage pass and the video 'A night out with the Backstreet Boys'. The video contains the VIVA unplugged concert. Guess what I found out on that cd that's in the box?? 'Heaven in your eyes' (yes, the song that Nick sings during a concert) will be on the new album!! It has a different title, it's called 'I need you tonight'. It's a little different but it still sounds great! Make sure you buy the BSB box as soon as possible because it's a limited eddition! Mayor Glenda Hood of Orlando, FL, has officially declared it! As most of you already know; Howie's sister Caroline Cochran died recently. She was only 37 years old. The Backstreet Boys had to cancel a concert because of this terrible thing. Kevin already appoligized to the fans (he didn't have to do that!) and the guys promised to reschedule the concert as soon as possible. Nick, Kevin and Howie said that they were still single. Denniz Pop, one of the Backstreet Boys songwriters, died last week of cancer. He was only 35 years old. He wrote songs like 'Everybody', 'That's the way I like it', 'We've got it going on' and more. Denniz Pop also wrote songs for other famous groups like 5ive, Solid Harmonie, All Saints and 3T. |
