spareChange was born in 2000 when I was struck with the idea for our first release, Grave Robbers From Outer Space: The B-Movie Card Game while attending Ad Astra, a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Con. I was sitting around a hotel room playing games with some friends and I thought "Man, too bad there isn't a game about bad movies." Then I realized there was one, I just hadn't written it yet. Grave Robbers and spareChange were born on that day, and so I was thrilled to debut the finished product at Ad Astra 2001. I was even more thrilled by the response we got.

In the years to come spareChange productions will continue to publish games that make us laugh. And we hope they do the same for you.
