Welcome to the seventh edition of Phil's Artist Quiz!

grab-bag!

This is the seventh edition of Phil's Artist Quiz. The format for these quizzes has recently been revamped, so listen, er, read closely. Instead of giving you the artist and a bunch of lyrics and asking you to identify the songs and albums they're from, this quiz will feature the songs of 5 different "mystery" artists. There are 10 lyrics from each artist and all 50 lyrics have been mixed together. Your mission, should you choose to accept, will be to identify the songs the lyrics come from for 3 points each and finally to identify the 5 mystery artists for 10 points each. As always, points are doubled if only one entrant correctly gets an answer. Lyrics are arranged alphabetically by song title. Titles with numbers are alphabetized as if the numbers were spelled out. Some of the lyrics should be easy; others are, hopefully, a little more challenging. Also, note that some of the lyrics may be from songs that were performed by several different artists. The correct "mystery" artists will be those that have 10 lyrics on the quiz.

One more note: This quiz is meant for fun and is intended to challenge you to recall and place lyrics you may have not heard in a long time. Its intent is not to test your ability to use search engines and the like to find lyrics on the Internet. Of course, I have no way of knowing from where you got your answers, so all I can ask is that you abide by the spirit of this quiz. Thanks!
