Hideshi Hino

Hideshi Hino is a Japanese manga artist. He was born in Manciuria in 1946 from Japanese parents but his family had to escape from China few time after his birth and he risked to die during the trip. In 1967 his first work and in 1971 he started a Manga series called something as "Hideshi Hino's Obscene Theatre". Two books (Hell Boy and Panorama of Hell) and some of hist short stories had been edited in USA by the Blast Books, with translation by Screaming Mad George. Panorama of Hell has been repressed in Italy by Telemaco press. The pictures of this page are by this version. He is also a movie director. the only one that i know is an episode of the 'Guinea Pig' serie, a very gruesome work dealing with torture.
