| "What would you like?" asked JC as he and Janet sat at a table upstairs which overlooked the whole dance floor. "Umm...just an orange soda," replied Janet meekly. Since she was only a 19-year-old girl with morals, she didn't want to drink anything alcoholic. After all, with Michelle getting wasted, only she would be able to drive them back to the hotel. And besides, she absolutely LOVED orange soda! "An orange soda?!" said the slightly confused JC. "Um, OK, if that's what you really want, then be right back. "Thanks," said Janet. ******* "Hey! I know you! You're that bathroom girl from the concert!" cried the stranger, pointing at Michelle as he spoke. "Whatever! You don't KNOW me! You don't know me at all!" cried back Michelle. The third drink really got her loosened up and yelling all over the place. "Well, maybe you'll let me GET to know you better!" said the stranger who obviously just hit on her. He had a devilish grin spread across his face. And just like Michelle, he too, was MAJORLY wasted! "Ugh! Fuck off, prick!" yelled Michelle. "What the hell?! No one turns down Justin Timberlake!" cried Justin, slightly embarrassed to be turned down in front of the growing crowd of people surrounding him and Michelle. "Correction, no one TURNED down Justin, until now!" yelled Michelle as she began to walk away from him, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back before she could escape the even biger crowd surrounding them. "Let me go you fucking peroxide-infected, ghetto black thug wannabe, ebonic talking, brillo-headed bimbo!" "OOH Dawg, she DISSED yo curly-ass BIG TIME!" yelled someone from the crowd. Everyone who heard it began to laugh. All the laughing distracted Justin while Michelle took advantage of the moment and fled to the bathroom from the crowd on the dance floor. ******* "Hey, I'm back," said JC as he handed Janet her orange soda. "Oh, hey. Thanks," said Janet as she accepted the orange soda and took a sip. As she put down her drink on the table, she heard a loud commotion from the dance floor. "What was that?!" she asked in partial shock. "Look! Down there, on the dance floor. There seems to be a fight or something going on down there. Man! Look at that crowd!" said JC as he pointed towards the crowd below them. "Hey! I just saw Michelle running to a bathroom! I'm gonna go after her. I'll be right back, OK?" said Janet. "Sure. Want me to come with you?" asked JC. "Um, OK, I guess so. But you'll have to wait outside the bathroom though!" said Janet with a hint of laughter in her voice. "Naw, I'm only coming along to peek through the stalls!" laughed JC. "Funny," said Janet, smiling. "Hmm, I wonder what's going on there," said JC, trying to look through the crowd. "Probably just some people getting freaky!" said Janet. "Hey, look! I just saw one of my friends in the center of the crowd. I'm gonna go in and check it out. You go on and check on Michelle," said JC. "OK, I'll meet you back here then, OK?" "OK, cool." ****** "Michelle? Michelle, are you alright?" asked Janet as she entered the empty bathroom with Michelle standing over a sink. "Not really," replied Michelle. "What happened? And why is there such a big crowd out there?!" asked Janet. "Ugh, well, let's see, Justin TWIRPYlake knocked me over while I was dancing and then he hit on me and I dissed him out and then we got into this fight and apparently a crowd was growing around us the whole time. But I ran to hide in here when the crowd got distracted," said Michelle. "But don't worry, I'm fine now. So where were you this whole time?" "Drinking orange soda with JC," Janet answered bluntly. "What?!" exclaimed Michelle. "Oh, well, see, when you dashed right to the dance floor, I ran over looking for you and apparently I ran into JC. We kinda straightened out the whole bathroom incident and he offered to buy me a drink," explained Janet. "Oh, I see," replied Michelle, surprised. "And you chose orange soda?! Why am I not surprised..." "Look, I'll explain the rest later. But for now, we need to get back out there. I told JC I'd meet him back where the crowd is," said Janet. "Hell no! I'm not going back out there!" cried Michelle. "Oh, come on Michelle. Don't be scared to face Justin! After all, you've already dissed him off!" said Janet. "Who says I'm scared to face Justin?!" asked Michelle defensively. "Well, if it's not that, then why are you so reluctant to go back out there?" asked Janet, knowing she had cornered Michelle. "Nothing, I guess. Ugh, OK, let's go then," said Michelle reluctantly. She hated the fact that Janet could always find a way to corner her, no matter what. ********* "Yo, Justin, what's going on? What happened?" asked JC as he reached Justin through the crowd. "Nothing. Look, I really don't wanna talk about it right now," replied Justin coldly. "Um, OK. Hey, I wanna introduce you to someone," said JC as he saw Janet coming closer to him. "Ugh, fine, but make it quick, OK?" demanded Justin. "Fine, fine," replied JC. "Hey Janet, over here!" "Oh, hey JC," said Janet. "Hey Janet. I'd like you to meet Justin. Justin, this is Janet. You remember her from the concert earlier, don't you?" asked JC. "Oh yeah, hi," said Justin offhandedly. "Uh oh," Janet muttered worriedly. She had just remembered what happened between Michelle and Justin, and the fact that Michelle was coming right behind her to meet JC... |
